Movin’ on Up…

Directions

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

It’s hard to believe that in just about a month, Chew Nibble Nosh will be one year old!  This year has been such a learning experience for me, and I’m still learning as I go.  I really, really appreciate you sticking with me through the craziness!

This year has been an exciting one, and now it’s time to take that excitement to the next level…in blogging terms.  I’m writing to let you know that Chew Nibble Nosh will be “down” on Monday, and possibly some or all of  Tuesday, for some maintenance work.  For those of you in the blogging world, I’m making the move towards being self-hosted!  For those of you who have no idea what that means, don’t worry.  It basically means that once I “move” the blog and self-host, I have total control over what you see and are able to do on the blog.

So, those weird ads that have nothing to do with my blog, but pop up anyway?  You won’t see those any more.  Need to print up a recipe, but don’t want to cut and paste?  You’ll be able to, because I’ll be able to add a print function.

If you follow the blog, your subscription should transfer over.  We’ll work hard to make sure that everyone moves over safe and sound.  Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest will all stay the same.  In fact, if you’re not following the blog on Facebook, or Twitter, now may be the time to join up.  I’ll be posting maintenance updates, as well as other things, on both Facebook and Twitter while the site is down.

Chew Nibble Nosh is growing, and it’s time to become a little more user friendly!   It’s pretty exciting!  We just have to muddle through the growing pains for a day or so.  I’ll send out a message when everything is up and running again.

Is there anything you’d love to see on the “new and improved” Chew Nibble Nosh?  If so, leave a comment or send me an email ([email protected]) and I’ll see what I can do!

Thank you, so much, for your support and patience.  I really appreciate it!

On to the next adventure!
